Congratulations!

Weddings provide a fresh opportunity to build or renew a relationship with the church. We welcome all who do not have a current church home to explore getting married here.

Preparing for Marriage
The Book of Common Prayer states that “… marriage is not to be entered into unadvised or lightly, but reverently, deliberately, and in accordance with the purposes for which it was instituted by God.”  Because of this conviction, pre-marital counseling is required of all couples who desire to be married at St. Mark’s. Five weeks of pre-marital counseling is required and should be scheduled at least four months before the wedding date.
The Church Building

Wedding services may be held in the central Nave, which seats 400 people, or in the Chapel, which seats 40 people.  Our fellowship hall is available for receptions upon request and subject to availability. Your receptions can be catered, just be aware that alcohol is not permitted on church property. Also, smoking is not permitted inside the church.

Weddings are scheduled on Saturdays only. No weddings are scheduled on Christmas, during Holy Week, or on three-day weekends such as Memorial Day or Labor Day.

The PDF files at the bottom of the page will give you some details, including an event planning checklist and breakdown of fees and other costs.
